NEW Choreography Workshop
Session 1: July 10 – 22
Session 2: July 24 – Aug 5
We are pleased to announce an inaugural opportunity for students to learn and perform new works created by established NYC choreographers. Dancers ages 13 – 17, entering grades 8 – 12 as of the 2017-2018 school year are invited to Audition. Students may audition to participate for two or four weeks.
To audition, students must submit a 60-90 second video of themselves performing a choreographed work. The piece may be self-composed or created by another choreographer, instructor, etc. While students may submit a solo work in any discipline, modern and contemporary are recommended.
Tuition
One Session: $450 (July 10 – 22 OR July 24 – August 5)
Two Sessions: $800 (July 10 – August 5)
Students will receive a registration form due July 1 with their formal acceptance.
Application Schedule
Rolling Admissions – all dancers will be notified within one week of their submission.
Submission
All dancers must submit their online applications to: tbrdnik@marthagraham.org.
Applications MUST include:
- Completed Audition Form (form will not save data. Please print form, write clearly, scan and submit)
- Video of work posted on a video platform (Youtube, Vimeo, etc.). If the link is password protected, please submit the password.
- Non-Refundable application fee, which is paid in advance online: Mindbody
