GRAHAM LEVEL I (ELEMENTARY)
Primarily an introductory class, goals for the elementary level include: movement skills, concentration, and self-awareness.
GRAHAM LEVEL II (INTERMEDIATE)
Placement at this level is based on faculty evaluation and requires prior work in Graham Technique and repertory; instruction builds strength, balance, stamina, focus, extended kinetic vocabulary, and provides an introduction to fundamental Graham phrases and repertory.
GRAHAM LEVEL III (ADVANCED)
Placement at this level is based on faculty evaluations and requires considerable prior work in Graham Technique and repertory; instruction builds strengths, balance, stamina, focus, kinetic vocabulary, and includes longer dance sequences and extended exposure to Graham phrases and repertory.
GRAHAM LEVEL IV (PROFESSIONAL)
Placement at this level is by faculty invitation only and is reserved for the most advanced Graham students. Instruction includes exposure to extensive Graham phrases and repertory as students strive towards virtuosity as dance professionals.
